Filament tape is composed of a polypropylene or polyester film embedded with fibreglass filaments for unbeaten tensile strength and abrasion resistance. It is available in two main categories – unidirectional (with glass filaments running in parallel along the length of the tape) and bidirectional (with glass filaments running the length and width of the tape in a matrix).
