Delivery Fee Notice

Like many businesses, Opal Packaging has been closely monitoring ongoing market conditions, including sustained inflationary pressures across raw materials, energy, fuel and other key inputs. Recent developments in the Middle East have further contributed to volatility in global energy markets and associated cost increases.

We have been absorbing these increases over an extended period. However, given the continued escalation in costs, we are no longer able to do so.

Accordingly, for all orders from 1 April 2026, a flat delivery fee will be as set out in the table below (all amounts ex-GST) and will apply to all Opal Packaging invoices issued from that date in respect of Opal Packaging products only.

This delivery fee forms part of our ongoing pricing structure and will continue to apply unless otherwise advised. Opal Packaging may vary the delivery fee from time to time to reflect changes in underlying cost conditions, acting reasonably and providing customers with prior notice of any such change.

We appreciate the impact this may have and thank you for your understanding and continued support.

If you do not have agreed delivery conditions, the following standard delivery times will apply.

Delivery timeframe

Products are normally delivered within 1-5 business days (excluding NT, WA and TAS) or unless specified otherwise. In the event that a Product you order is not available, or Opal is otherwise unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you within 1 business day to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder, or a full refund. Every endeavour will be made to complete delivery within the above timeframe, but Opal will have no liability if delivery is late.

Pallet Exchange

Deliveries made on standard pallets will require a one-for-one pallet exchange at time of delivery (unless courier transport is provided, where other arrangements for return or invoice will be made).

Any pallets not exchanged will be charged at $40 + GST each on a supplementary invoice
